You want world-class. But without the fuss.

But what is out there, even the pinnacle of lifestyle and success, still isn’t quite your cup of tea. And cup of tea it must be.

That’s because when you show up, you show up! You know that being present and playing 100% is more energising than half-arsing it. Many a time you’ve been described as being ‘in the zone’.

You have created the most memorable ‘cannot believe this is real’ moments for yourself and others. Your documentary reel makes you look like a superstar.

And yet, you have been through and witnessed the darkest of times and have had to remind yourself that rock-bottom goes lower. This has given you extraordinary perspective and compassion.

People are drawn to you and your leadership.

Your heart is supernova bright, and yes, it practically explodes with love when you see people in their element (or puppies and good food).

You’re a healer. Your words and even your energy mean so much to so many people and can create cellular shifts. And even if ‘healer’ isn’t your title of choice, you are proud of this gift.

You set others at ease. Whenever you meet someone, you could make the ‘just promise not to fall in love with me’ speech, because between your easy smile, wicked sense of humour and enduring kindness, you are magnetic af. You’re not interested in winning favours or admirers, though. You just love to see people being themselves.

You dare to speak the truth.

Not just your truth, but the kind that will change lives and make people feel less alone and more alive. This makes you fierce.

And nobody sees the world quite like you.

It’s cool the way your brain makes connections, finds patterns, and creates insights from thin air. You can read a situation as easily as you can read people.

After all, you are a creative powerhouse and an artist. Everything you do is art. The way you do business, the way you move, the words you write and the pictures you draw up in your mind. Being creative is the same as breathing to you. If having a life-coach means creative thinking and life-design, you’re in.

When you want something, you go for it. You put your money where your heart is, even when it’s a stretch.

You are absolutely committed to being the best version of you. You’re not just someone who wants to intellectually ‘get’ self-help concepts or brag that personal development is part of your morning routine. Every day, you consciously make a choice to be better and to take meaningful action towards being your best.

You are creating a legacy. Your soul knows this.

But you hold yourself back

You struggle to state your worth, even though you are the secret-sauce behind others’ success! You sometimes shrink and act like you are in the backseat, the background or the sidelines, when really you were born for next level leadership. You are THE SAME as those you inspire YOU!

Occasionally you trick yourself, cos you’re clever like that, telling yourself that this is all enough, even though you could have anything you dared to ask for. Sometimes you are scared you don’t have the energy and resources to make the life of your dreams- this vision, sustainable. Sometimes you stop yourself imagining more than this. When things have been ‘easy’ so far, it scares you that you might fail going for something ‘hard’.

You say yes too often, because you can handle it. One small, ‘harmless’ compromise after another. Before you know it, your life begins to feel like it’s on someone else’s terms.

You get sucked into the ‘hustle’ zeitgeist & still hear the voice of parents or some old audiobook that makes striving for security seem like the only way to success. Your best results have come from taking chances and trusting your intuition, and yet you give up your power at times to follow a plan that you know wasn’t meant for you.

You struggle to distance yourself from those who hold you back from the you you wanna be. You feel guilty, especially when you see that someone counts on you, and act like suffering toxic interactions is your charity work. Ultimately it’s no good deed if it stops you living your dreams and leaving your legacy!

Deep down you still feel undeserving of your tribe. But know that you need to be around people who are the best and want the best for you. You never feel like you quite belong and it’s becoming a source of shame, not pride. But you deserve the most supportive friends, the best mentors, and a family who let you grow and shine.

Even when it’s great, being you is hard.

You’ll be misunderstood. There is still a divide between the words you say and those that hum between your ears, even when you try to put it all out there. You inspire people so much that they hear what they want to hear, and that unfortunately can mean not really hearing you. So much for sharing your truth.

Life always feels a little dangerous. Not in the ways you like, but in the way where you are scared that you will lose everything you’ve worked for or that you peaked long ago. It puts you at risk of playing small or going for the wrong things for the wrong reasons.

Despite your good graces, you can’t help resent that everything feels like it is up to you. If you didn’t turn up, would anything get done? Nobody can really comprehend the energy and mental bandwidth you give to create the best life for you, your loved ones and the world.

And then, even though love is at the centre of all you do, you can accidentally hurt people’s feelings with your awesome-sauce. If only people knew your beautiful mind and good intentions, they could hack the occasional unfiltered truth or the smouldering confidence that might tickle their insecurities.

Wearing your heart & your art on your sleeve means unwanted criticism from those who just want the best for you. They’ll tell you to mould yourself a certain way, be a little quieter, a little safer, for your sake.

You have an erratic pace but your own flow. Sometimes you’ll be too slow. Sometimes you’ll be too busy. You worry it’s never good enough for those who discount you as busy or are concerned that you have happily spent days in bed.

Your magnetism & competence complicates your life. There are many offers on the table and you are forever learning to discern. You wonder when you’ll be completely satisfied as you squash cheeky fires in your heart.

It is lonely.

Hanging with friends is weirdly a huge deal for you. Doing what regular people do. But to you it’s a highlight and something you don’t take for granted. Having people love you as you are is so important to you.

You want success on repeat, but are afraid that you are missing that je ne sais quoi of your very adult & ‘together’ role-models who look and speak the part. You worry that your track-record of success is some kind of fluke.

Did you know?

Your success is no fluke! It is repeatable and you have everything you need (including the process) already in your coding.

You can have absolutely everything you want and more. You deserve it. And you deserve it exactly as you like it. That includes allowing it to be easy and at your pace.

The ones you think you are hurting might just be the ones you inspire the most. Trust in your impact and that the sting is only temporary. I have many stories like this I hope you get to hear from me one day.

Nobody will ever fully understand your efforts, your sacrifices, and the care you put into so many ordinary moments. But you can feel connection without being fully understood. To dissolve resentment, remove your expectations of another and ask straight up for what you want. That includes telling the well-meaning ‘concerned’ that you would love their whole-hearted support.

You are your message. Even if people don’t get what you say, they feel you and the way you show up has seismic impact.

Never dial down your juju, but dial up your boundaries. Saying no is your biggest flex. When you can do anything and everything, but choose to wait for something better, the real deal enters your orbit.

Say yes, too!

When you say yes to scary, out-of-your-depth experiences that feel expansive, you can quantum leap into worlds you thought were forever away.

You can let go of people with love. You may find they blossom in your absence and that next time you meet you are both changed and on the same wavelength.

Even when you feel alone, you are so loved. The extraordinary people who are your people are waiting for someone exactly like you to connect with. Remember that it is safe to have dreamy soul-friendships.

It gets better than your highest moments in ways you can’t even fathom yet. The best is ahead of you, with or without chasing the high!

The world is waiting for you to step up. You were not meant for ordinary. Shrinking does nobody any favours.

No shrinking. Only shining.
